Beginner’s Builder Gel and Gel Polish with E-File Training Course .

This is an in person, one-on-one accredited nail course based in my home studio in Enfield, North London.

Who is this course for?

This course is for complete beginner’s who want to become qualified in builder gel, gel polish and e-file use.

What qualifications will I get?

This is a fully accredited nail course through ATB (Associated Beauty Therapists). This means it is a recognised qualification allowing you to legally perform the treatment and to get insurance.

How does the training course work?

Please select the date that works best for you. Once you have purchased your course you’ll receive an email with all the information about your training day and your pre online learning.

Pre Learning

Prior to your training day you will be required to complete online learning. This involves going through the digital manual that is emailed to you upon purchase and emailing me back your completed workbook. This is not a pass/fail task, it’s just to help you gain an understanding prior to your course. This must be completed and sent back to me at least 24 hours before your training day.

Training Day

This course is a day and a half long. You will come in for one full day (9am-5pm with a lunch break) and return the next morning for a final three hours of training. The reason this course is half a day longer than Beginner’s Gel Polish and Builder Gel, is to factor in for the additional time needed to train on the E-File machine. The training days will be a mix of theory and practical work. Your practical work will be a mix of you working on yourself and also working on me.

We will begin your training day by going through theory and product knowledge. This will cover anatomy, hygiene, contraindications, allergies and more. Understanding this will help you better understand the treatment and feel confident in your knowledge. After this we’ll move on to the practical work, from nail prep (hand and e-file), to application, infills and removals. Your course also covers consultations, legalities and troubleshooting, as well as practicing some french tips! We will finish your training by doing a set start to finish on your hand or mine.

Case Studies

After your training day you will be required to complete three case studies.. This can be completed on yourself, a friend, or family member. You’ll be required to complete the case study task, for example ‘prep the natural nail’, and send me photos/videos for me to pass you. You can complete these as quickly as you want to but they must all be finished within 6 months. The case studies are:

-Prep the natural nail

-Builder gel application

-Builder gel application with gel polish

Once your case studies have been completed a digital certificate will be emailed to you and a physical certificate will be posted to you.

On Going Support

The support does not stop there, after you’re qualified you have on going access to help from me throughout your nail career. This means you can message me whenever you need some advice or help with anything.

Should I purchase the optional starter kit?

It’s completely up to you whether you purchase the starter kits. If you choose to not purchase the kit and shop around yourself that is absolutely fine! Just bare in mind that you will need what is mentioned in the builder gel and gel polish kit to complete your case studies at home. You cannot complete the case studies without these products. You can use the list below of things you need to shop for. If you have any questions on this please send me a message.

These starter kits have everything you need to get started. For the Gel and Builder Gel kit there is an additional cost of £115. This includes:

• Gel Base Coat (either TGB or Glossify)

• Builder Gel (either TGB or Glossify)

• Cuticle Oil

This kit does not come with a UV lamp. The reason for this is because lamps vary a lot in price, ranging from £30-£200+ and I’m aware all students will have varying budgets. You may also want to purchase the light of the matching brand of gel you decide to purchase from long term. You will need a lamp to complete your case studies. I can send you over a list of recommended lamps at different price points if this is something you require.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE THE E-FILE STARTER KIT OR AN E-FILE TO PASS THIS COURSE. YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR E-FILE CERTIFICATE DIRECTLY AFTER YOUR TRAINING DAY.

For the E-File starter kit there is an additional cost of £220. This includes:

• Barrel Cuticle Bit

• Safety Edge Bit

• Mandrel Bit

• Sanding Bands

Payment Plan

Payment plans are available on courses over £200. The plan available allows students to pay 50% at checkout, and the final 50% one month later. Certificates will not be awarded until both payments are paid in full.

Refunds

Once you have purchased your course you will not be able to receive a refund on this. The date of your course and type of course can also not be rescheduled once your purchase is completed.
